We build this site to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. That means readable type, a visible focus style, keyboard access, and text that is not carried by colour alone. Motion can be reduced in the browser, and the pages still read.
Target
WCAG 2.2 level AA is the standard we work to on every page. We treat it as part of the design, not as a check at the end.
Known limitations
Labels on the bone sections used a grey and a champagne that were too light. Those tokens now resolve to a darker muted colour (#5C5854, about 5.8:1 on bone) and a darker champagne (#6A5740) while a section is bone, so body text and the accent clear 4.5:1. The lighter champagne stays on ink. The wordmark follows the section under the header so dark type does not sit on a light page. A formal screen-reader pass in VoiceOver and NVDA has not been recorded. Touch targets in the header are at least 24px. 44px remains the aim for primary controls.
