This note explains what this website collects, why, and how long we keep it. HEA Development is the controller of that information. It is written in plain English as a working draft, not as formal legal advice.
What we collect
If you send an enquiry, or ask for a private walkthrough of confidential work, we collect the details you type: your name, work email, company, and what you tell us about the project. A walkthrough request also includes your role and a short reason. Optional fields, such as a website address or how you heard about us, are stored only if you fill them in.
We also receive technical information that arrives with any request, such as the time it was sent and a coarse address of the connection, so we can limit repeated submissions.
Why we collect it
We use this information to reply, to decide whether we can take the work, and, if we do, to prepare a proposal. The lawful basis is the steps you asked us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering genuine enquiries. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing lists.
Who handles it
The site is hosted on Vercel. Enquiry email is sent through Resend, from our address to ours, and a short acknowledgement is sent back to you. Those providers process the message so it can be delivered. We do not place advertising tags on the site.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to reply. If we work together, we keep the correspondence for the life of the project and a short period afterwards, so the brief and the decisions stay clear. If we do not proceed, we delete the thread once it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the information we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. None of this affects any separate contract we sign for a project.
